I used to read Readers Digest years ago. Now I’ve retired I thought I would give it another go. I have enjoyed the two issues I have received so far. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

the short stories , i really got for my wife who has early stages of dementia and try to get her to read, as her memory is poor the short stories are easy for her to read and not keep going back to the story line as she would not remember it when she would put the magazine down

It is still as brilliant, informative and extremely interesting as it always has been!

There`s such a mixture of Articles and Stories and it hasn`t changed a lot since when I first bought Readers Digest in the 1970`s

Only been a subscriber to Reader Digest this year and find it informative, interesting and a handy ‘dip in and out’ read.
Review by Ian
I enjoy the breadth of topics that are covered, both current and of more general interest. More substantial than a regular magazine yet not as 'heavy as other periodicals, RD is ideal for dipping into for an entertaining and informative read.

Informative but also entertaining. Great variety compared to others

I enjoy the range of articles and the regular features such as 'If I ruled the world' and 'you couldn't make it up'. The magazine covers many modern day issues and balances this with nostalgic pieces which gives readers of various ages time to contemplate with different perspectives. The best compliment I can give 'The Reader's Digest' is that I smile when it arrives and rush to the back pages to see if I have finally beaten the cartoonist!

My father used to buy your magazine back in my teenage years in the 1949-early 50s . My brother and I used to read it then and enjoy the vocabulary tests and the book reviews and much more besides now at the age of eighty five I was delighted to see your offer, and it is still the interesting Magazine it was back then, and I'm enjoying it immensely . Keep up the good work, it is wonderful to see that in this day and age in some cases the old standards have not diminished.

I so enjoyed The Power We Hold. Certainly we as consumers are having increasing costs to receive electricity into our homes- resulting for me being more frugal in the way I use it. Also Dangerous Diagnosis by Suzanne O'Sullivan- I agreed with every word. Dynamic Duos- can’t wait to try onions and and chickpeas. And - if Paul Gervias ruled the world his love gone viral will soon be a reality by means of God’s Kingdom with Jesus as King - already arranged by our giver of life, Almighty God

Always a great read, has a bit of something for everyone.

I have always liked RD, even though I have just taken out a subscription.
I have read RD from other countries ie. Australia, Canada and USA when I have managed to to pick them up, (not buy them) their contents are much and varied, and very interesting. When our family was younger I bought RD books which helped them in their upbringing, I have passed some to our Grandchildren, who are just as interested.

A magazine with a unique nature of covering a wide range of topics, giving the reader a positive outlook through its coverage of successful people, health tips to keep you healthy, a pinch of fun and a few puzzles to keep the brain ticking. What else do you need to keep the month going on !

Reader’s Digest has been part of my life since childhood but I do miss certain pages like “Life’s like that.” I prefer the old format better.
Review by Susan
Like the articles and the humour. I also enjoy challenging myself with the word meanings. Didn’t read all the articles as they weren’t interesting to me.
