I ain’t afraid of no ghosts

It’s that ghoulishly good time of the year again. At Halloween we traipse the streets trick or treating, dressed as Jack the Ripper and Annabelle, alongside our little wizards, witches and pumpkins. Millions of people will be tuning into a scary film with a huge bowl of popcorn to hide behind or sitting in darkness with just a tiny flicker of candlelight, telling the world’s scariest ghost story.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014 – The Peoples' Choice Award

This year, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition celebrates 50 years of stunning photography from the world of wildlife with the introduction of the People’s Choice Award. The WPY jury have selected an extra 50 images from the submissions that had made it through to the finals with the winning photo being selected via a public vote.
