I love House and Garden and have been a subscriber for over 25years! In the last few years I have noticed that there are more adverts than articles, which I do understand is possibly necessary to cover costs of keeping the magazine alive.
I keep my magazines and revisit them all the time, the other day I was looking back on one from 2010, and it was still so relevant! House and Garden is my happy escape with a cup of coffee!
